In the News: 7-year-old organizes Forgotten Felines fundraiser

“They are cute,” that’s what 7-year-old Makena Myatt said about why she loves cats. Her love for cats runs so deep that she decided to make thumbprint cat magnets to raise money for Forgotten Felines.

We were watching a video and it was how to make thumbprint animals. She saw the cat and said she could do that, so they decided to make them and sell them to raise money for Forgotten Felines, said Melinda Norvell, Myatt’s mother. “It just took off.”
